Each of Shakespeare's plays is documented in prints, photos, programs, heralds and playbills. Playbills, magazine articles, publicity stills, broadside ads, cartoons, scripts, original drawings, photographs and postcards comprise a majority of this collection. Magazine articles cover every subject from reviews of specific performances, analysis of individual works, and even announcements of specific stars in their performances. Includes modern works such as Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and modern adaptations such as West Side story and Kiss me Kate. The miscellaneous materials collection includes a subsection of ephemera from various Shakespeare festivals in the U.S., England, and Canada.
